APH+LH: This Dress Is Not Wanted by LKeiko APH+LH: This Dress Is Not Wanted by LKeiko
Did the Nickname Dress thing.

Honduras is quite infamously known as the Murder Capital of the World. And its not an exaggeration. source: www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04…

and she's not even at war!!!

Can't say Ana is proud of the everyday violence her land is subjected to but she must arm herself and endure or sadly get overwhelmed by the senseless blood shedding. We can only blame the drugs, cartels and gangs as well as limited amount of jobs available, the growing number of youth and Honduras's ineffective struggling government.

Luckily there's hope with her citizens doing what they can to keep the youth of today from following down that path. Like this Maltese Priest --> [Link]  inadvertently provided by Frozen-Q

P.S. In this picture, you can clearly see Ana's ahoge that represents her third of el Gulfo de Fonseca. Its located at the base of her neck, hidden by the excess amount of her hair.

P.S.S. Forgot to mention that after seeing the photo below and coming up with a dress adequate for Honduras's unwanted nickname, the idea came to like a baseball coming at 110 mph.

Motherland Chronicles #39 - Underwater by zemotion

Check out zemotion's gallery, its very beautiful VvV

P.S.S.S Looky at the other APH ladies with their nickname dresses as well~!

I can tell that you spent a lot of time on this pic, and it really shows. I really love the fluid lines on her dress on her hair.

tbh, i did the lineart and base colors in one night. I dunno what but I suddenly just got so inspired when I saw that underwater pic.
By the time I realized what I was doing it was like 3 am and I literally flopped into my pillow. XD
The effects took me longer to do XD But I'm glad its done ;;7;;

Welcome! :hug:

Woah, you must have been really motivated. XD It's lovely when that happens, though; it doesn't often.

so interesting (sad, but interesting ) the data from your link.
i love the way you put the character not as a victim, but as an actor pushed by the circunstamces , maybe of a really big and complex unregulated market as the  trafic of illicit substances.
pdt: sorry, i'm not good at english, pero la idea es que me encantó el dibujo Love

Oh my gosh this picture I swear to god. I really like the art even if it is based on sad truth of the world. I love all of your detail and how you drew emotion out of this picture, like just how did you do this to measdfghjkl;

I kind of wanna to do this for my OC (PR) but wouldn't have an idea of where to start anyway or design whatever kind of dress.

omg thank you so much! Inspiration does come from many things, even sad truths.
I felt the issue needed some explaining and educating so the only way to do it justice was to portray it as you saw.

but seriously I'm so flattered :iconasdfghplz:

Thank you thank you~! I tried ;v;

If you still wanna do it, you can go ahead and research what nicknames your country has and pick the one you like best.
After that is the fun part of choosing a dress you think will fit PR (I choose the fluffy long skirt with no bodice because Ana likes flowy dresses with no straps XD)
And then comes combining the nickname to the dress. You can look at the thumbs I showed in the description for inspiration. Remember to have fun~!

No thank yous because your art is the truth like damn how do you even and I like how you explained your view and put sources (I always put the website for everything I do, I swear) to look at the outcome for how others might see this with the information.

I went ahead with it anyway and posted it on my account, the temptation hit me too hard. It's not the best drawing and I'm not the best designer. It's nowhere as close to being good as yours or the other fabu ladies, y'all hit that ball way out of the park.
